Water Flows from Dried Well After Village Prayer in Morocco

In the drought-stricken village of Imzouren, Morocco, a group of villagers gathered around a 70-year-old dry well to pray for rain. Moments after their final “Amen,” water began bubbling up from the long-dead spring. Engineers were called in, expecting a broken pipe—but found only natural, clean groundwater.

The community now calls the well “Bir Al Baraka” (The Well of Blessing). Nearby towns have begun hosting group prayer walks, inspired by what locals see as a divine act of mercy.
