In northern California, a wildfire consumed 13,000 acres of forest, yet one wooden church stood completely untouched — even its wooden steeple and surrounding trees were spared. Firefighters and villagers are calling it a miracle, noting the flames stopped in a perfect circle around the church perimeter.
The pastor, Reverend Elijah Matthews, said his congregation had prayed together just the night before: “God placed His hand here — I have no other explanation.” The church has since become a destination for spiritual pilgrimage.
