For decades, Lake Florica was considered too murky to see more than a foot below. Last week, it turned crystal clear overnight, revealing what appears to be a massive stone cross resting on the lakebed.
Divers confirmed it is real, carved into the rock and measuring 20 meters long. Locals are now holding lakeside prayer vigils and lighting candles on floating wooden crosses.
