Gold Dust Falls from Ceiling During Bible Study in Philippines

Davao City, Philippines — A small house church group gathering for their weekly Bible study was enveloped in awe after shimmering gold dust began falling from the ceiling during worship — a phenomenon attendees are calling a divine visitation.

The group of 17 believers had just finished reading Psalm 24 when one of them noticed a glowing speck in the air. Within seconds, the entire room was gently covered in what appeared to be glittering dust, settling on Bibles, hair, and hands.

“It looked like stardust,” said Arlene Bautista, a longtime member. “It didn’t come from the roof — it was like it appeared mid-air and floated down.” Multiple video recordings show the group weeping and praying, many kneeling in reverence.

Tests conducted on the particles revealed no known synthetic glitter or metallic properties, and the house ceiling was confirmed to be sealed and free of any tampering. Scientists remain puzzled.

Pastor Joel, who leads the group, said the event happened without warning or emotional buildup. “No one was trying to make anything happen,” he said. “God just showed up. We all felt it — His holiness, His love.”

Since then, the home has hosted daily prayer meetings, with visitors from surrounding provinces hoping to witness the phenomenon again. While the gold dust has not returned, many say the atmosphere of the house feels tangibly changed.

“For years, we worshipped in secret, quietly. Now it’s like Heaven decided to speak,” said Pastor Joel. “And He did it with glory.”
