For 17 years, the bell of Saint Michael’s Church lay cracked and silent. Last month, it unexpectedly rang during a Good Friday service, though no one had touched it. The bell’s spontaneous chime was followed by reports of three attendees being healed from various ailments, including arthritis and chronic pain.
Engineers found the bell structurally sound. Church leaders now refer to it as “The Bell of Mercy,” and healing services are scheduled weekly. Pilgrims are pouring in from across Europe.
