Ariana Grande Denies 2025 Tour Rumors Amid ‘Wicked’ Success

Ariana Grande’s record label, Republic Records, has officially addressed swirling rumors about a potential 2025 tour, confirming that the pop star has no plans to hit the road next year. Despite fans’ hopes for a live performance tour following her acclaimed role in Wicked, Grande’s focus remains on her acting career and promoting the two-part adaptation of the beloved musical.

Grande’s portrayal of Glinda in Wicked has earned her widespread praise, with critics noting her ability to blend her powerhouse vocals with nuanced acting. The first installment of the film premiered in November 2024 to rave reviews, and it has already received four Golden Globe nominations, including one for Grande’s performance. The sequel, set to release in November 2025, is expected to further cement her reputation as a multi-talented artist.

While fans were eager for a mini-tour to accompany her film success, Grande’s team clarified that no such plans are in place. “Ariana is fully committed to her current projects, and she’s focusing on giving her best to Wicked and her upcoming music releases,” the label stated.

Grande’s last tour, the 2019 Sweetener World Tour, was a massive success, drawing millions of fans worldwide. Although she has taken a step back from touring, her influence remains undeniable. Songs from her discography continue to dominate streaming platforms, and her role in Wicked has introduced her to a new audience of theater enthusiasts.

For now, Grande’s fans will have to wait a little longer to see her return to the stage. In the meantime, her dual success in music and film ensures her place as one of the most versatile and celebrated artists of her generation.
