In Verona, Italy, parishioners arrived at Saint Lucia’s Church to find a detailed mural of the Madonna and Child on the outer brick wall. The image bears a striking resemblance to a 15th-century painting lost during World War II. No artists were seen, and surveillance footage shows only a brief flash of light during the night.
Art historians are investigating, while the church has roped off the area as sacred ground.
