A shepherd’s dog in northern Romania has become a sensation after leading a group of lost hikers to a carved wooden cross hidden deep in the Carpathian Mountains. The hikers, part of a spiritual retreat, had prayed for guidance just minutes before the stray dog appeared and walked them for nearly an hour through thick forest.
The cross, estimated to be over 200 years old, had been forgotten by local historians. Now dubbed the “Faithful Path,” the route is being preserved as a spiritual trail for future pilgrims.
