New Delhi, India — A coalition of Christian organizations has launched a global campaign to combat human trafficking, focusing on rescue operations, rehabilitation programs, and advocacy for stronger laws. The campaign, titled “Freedom in Christ,” is active in over 50 countries, providing shelter, counseling, and job training to survivors.
One of the key initiatives includes safe houses for rescued women and children, offering a refuge where they can heal and rebuild their lives.
“This work is at the heart of our faith,” said Reverend Peter Jacobs, one of the campaign’s leaders. “We are called to fight for justice and to be a voice for the voiceless.”
The coalition is also working with governments and law enforcement to disrupt trafficking networks, with several successful operations reported in Southeast Asia and Africa.
