A wave of student-led revivals is gaining momentum in universities and high schools across the U.S. and parts of Europe. What began as an extended worship session at a Christian university in Kentucky has sparked prayer meetings, baptisms, and all-night worship events in dozens of campuses.
Social media has amplified the movement, with hashtags like #GenZForJesus and #FaithAwakening trending globally. “It’s a generation hungry for purpose and truth,” said youth pastor Marcus Hill in Atlanta.
Churches are partnering with campus ministries to disciple new believers, and some are opening their doors for 24/7 prayer and worship. Many see this as a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit not seen since the Jesus Movement of the 1970s.
