Sinai Peninsula, Egypt — Thousands of pilgrims from across the globe gathered on Mount Sinai for an interfaith pilgrimage celebrating the shared heritage of the Abrahamic religions. The event, organized by Christian, Jewish, and Muslim leaders, included prayers, discussions, and cultural exchanges aimed at fostering peace and understanding.
Participants climbed Mount Sinai in the early hours of the morning to witness the sunrise from the summit, believed to be the site where Moses received the Ten Commandments. The event concluded with a symbolic planting of olive trees at the mountain’s base, representing unity and reconciliation.
“This pilgrimage is a powerful reminder that faith can bring us together,” said Father Elias Ibrahim, one of the event organizers.
