Christian Organization Launches Global Bible Translation Project for Remote Tribes

Location: Nairobi, Kenya

A major Christian organization has announced an ambitious project to translate the Bible into 1,000 indigenous languages that have never had access to Scripture before. The initiative, led by Faith & Language Ministries, aims to bring the Gospel to remote tribal communities in Africa, South America, and Southeast Asia.

The organization has developed AI-assisted translation software, allowing linguists and local pastors to create accurate translations faster than ever before. In some cases, entire books of the Bible have been translated in under a year, compared to the decades-long process required in the past.

“For centuries, many communities have never had access to God’s Word in their own language,” said Reverend Samuel Otieno, a project leader in Kenya. “This is a historic moment that will help spread the Gospel to the ends of the earth.” The first translations will be published and distributed within the next two years.
