As Christian persecution intensifies in North Korea, underground Christian networks are working tirelessly to smuggle Bibles into the country. Despite the government’s harsh penalties for religious activities, believers are risking their lives to distribute Scripture and spread the Gospel to those living under one of the world’s most restrictive regimes.
Organizations based in South Korea and China have developed covert methods to deliver Bibles, including waterproof containers floating across rivers, digital copies on USB drives, and hidden compartments in everyday items. Testimonies from North Korean defectors reveal that secret house churches continue to grow despite the oppressive conditions.
“We know the risks, but the Word of God cannot be silenced,” said a former North Korean believer now working with underground Christian missions. “Many inside the country are hungry for truth, and even a single Bible can change lives.” The international Christian community continues to pray and advocate for the persecuted Church in North Korea.
